Ultrasonic Cleaner, Ultra Sonic Cleaner

This is a great invention for cleaning jewelry. Ultrasonic cleans by using sound frequencies. It's powerful enough to remove heavy oils, all proteins, dried wax, and so precise it can clean circuit boards, but also delicate enough to clean the delicate of precision assemblies such as diamond or any other gem ring. It works like this; Ultrasonic sound waves are sounds that take place above and beyond what we as humans can hear, ranging from 20,000 cycles/sec to 100,000 cycles/sec. alone that really can't do anything as far as cleaning. You need fluid. Once you put the fluid in and start the machine the ultrasonic waves starts to make the fluid bubble. Well once these bubbles start they become bigger because sound is actually being put in the bubbles, and when just one bubble collapses it creates about 20,000 pounds of pressure per square inch. That's a lot of pressure. The Ultrasonic cleaner literally creates millions of these bubbles inside the machine and at the right time it explodes them, combine that with 20K pounds of pressure of liquid and you can see how it can clean and get into every nook and cranny there is. Something else to think about. With so many bubbles being created and all the pressure being shot around, the Ultrasonic cleaner can literally get to about 2000 degree Fahrenheit. Just remember don't just go buy one of these and put regular old tap water in it. You need a cleaning solution that can actually fill up like a water balloon in terms of bubble making, so when the bubble goes "POP" you can the biggest bang for your buck. |
| UGS
Universal Gemological Services was created so companies could get independent appraisals done for their diamond rings, loose diamonds, gems, and any other gemstone based product on a fast, reliable basis. Many people do not think that UGS are a reputable company, always insisting that you use GIA. Well we have to say that Universal Gemological Services are reputable companies and have proven themselves time and time again with fast, accurate, reliable gemological appraisals. They do exactly what GIA does in terms of telling you everything you need to know about the diamond or gem. The only real difference is what they charge. They don't charge companies an arm and a leg to send their diamonds or gems in to get appraised like other major appraisal companies. However their work is still the same as the big time appraisal companies. They allow the small business, especially the internet business to thrive without giving up all of their profits. An appraisal is so important because it gives the buyer an exact sense of what they are buying. If you were to buy a diamond ring at your local mall, you could actually see the diamond ring, feel it, inspect it. But on the internet you can't do that, so we as diamond sellers have to find a way to get you as much reliable and accurate information as we can about the diamond ring you're looking at. |
| Ultraviolet Light
The only way to detect the Fluorescence of a diamond is through the use of ultraviolet light. Once exposed you will see immediately if the diamond glows. If it does it will be usually Yellow or in some case a Strong Blue color. The blue color can be bad and well as good. In almost all cases if you see a yellow fluorescence that perfectly fine. However if it's blue, that could be why your diamond appears milky white even in the daylight. The reverse of that, is sometimes it's the Blue fluorescence that will actually enhance the brightness of your diamond. On most reports you will find whether or not the diamond has a fluorescence to it. |
