Our Return Policy
At SecretDiamond.com we strive for customer satisfaction and complete fairness to all our valued customers. The prices we charge for our diamond jewelry, particularly our diamond engagement rings, are some of the lowest prices you will find anywhere regardless of where you are shopping. We work with some of the lowest margins in the industry. Due this fact, it is important for us to offer a fair and responsible return/exchange policy. In the event a customer purchases an item and decides to return it, there are costs incurred by our company. Due to this fact, we have decided to develop a return/exchange policy that we feel is appropriate and continues to allow us to offer our extremely low prices to you and all future customers. Each client has a 15 day inspection period. This inspection period begins on the day you receive your merchandise. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise, you may return your merchandise (In it’s original condition) for a full refund minus shipping charges and processing fees. We must be notified within 15 days of your intent to return/exchange, and the merchandise must be received by us no later than 20 days from the day you receive it. Non-refundable Processing fees total 5% of the purchase price. This only applies to retuned merchandise and not exchanges. We truly want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any questions about a particular item on our website, please call us in advance on our toll free number. 1-877-999-9920. We will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have. We understand that when purchasing an engagement ring, it is often a surprise. This may mean that the individual receiving the ring may not be completely satisfied. If you decide to exchange your merchandise for merchandise of equal or greater value, we will even cover the additional cost of shipping your new item(s) to you, one time. In all cases, shipping charges back to us are your responsibility. We will even be happy to personally examine each diamond engagement ring you may be considering, to offer you more details that may not be apparent to you in our pictures or descriptions. We encourage you to contact us with any questions you may have before you make your purchase. Lay-Away Because we set aside your lay-away item for up to 90 days and offer very flexible terms, we are not able to refund the 25% deposit under any circumstance.
Any money paid in addition to the 25% deposit will be refunded upon request or at the end of 90 days if you are not able to complete the process
Our Return Process Once we receive your returned item, your refund or exchange will be processed in just a few days. Upon us receiving your returned item, it will be promptly reviewed by our quality assurance department. Please Be Aware that items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered in any manner, resized (by anyone other than SecretDiamond.com/Taylor James Inc.) or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return or exchange. Returns without a SecretDiamond.com/Taylor James Inc. return authorization code, improperly packaged returns, or returns that are not insured, will be refused receipt.
Cancellations
If you order an item and then decide to cancel your order, for any reason, we reserve the right to charge a 5% fee of the total purchase price to cover the costs we had to incur. To make this very clear. If you order and then decide to cancel, a fee with be imposed on you in the amount of 5% of the total purchase price.
Preparing Your Return

Please call 1-877-999-9920 or email us at returns@SecretDiamond.com and request a Return Authorization Code. Please write this code on a copy of your sales receipt and include this in your package.
- Please include all original packaging and material you received with your order. If your item was delivered with a diamond certificate and that certificate is not returned, you will be held liable for a replacement cost of $275.
- FOR SECURITY REASONS, DO NOT WRITE SECRETDIAMOND (.COM) ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX.
WHEN YOU EMAIL FOR YOUR RETURN AUTHORIZATION CODE, OR PHONE IN FOR IT, YOU WILL BE GIVEN THE ADDRESS TO SEND YOUR ITEM TO.
On your invoice, if the price of the item you are returning is listed as: *Less than $500.00: You may ship your returned item via any carrier. We require that you ship your item FULLY INSURED, and that you request a return receipt for confirmation that your package was received by Taylor James Inc.. *More Than $500.00: If your item is more than $500 you must ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail(Trade Mark). We require that you Insure your package for the Full Value of it’s contents (as stated on your invoice) and request a return receipt for confirmation that your package was received by Taylor James Inc. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL PREVENT THE PROCESSING OF YOUR RETURN. TAYLOR JAMES/SECRETDIAMOND.COM WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE OF RETURN SHIPMENTS, THIS IS WHY YOU NEED TO INSURE YOUR ITEM.
Refunds will be issued in the same manner that payment was made. Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the same card. Please allow one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear. This does not mean we will issue you a refund in a month, we will issue you your refund within 3-5 business days. However some credit card companies will not show the refund until the next billing cycle. Customers returning a partial order will be refunded for the returned items only. Refunds will be applied to any unpaid balances first. We will not issue a check or or issue refunds in any way other than the manner in which you made the payment.

Comparison Purchasing: In our ongoing efforts to offer the lowest prices possible, we do not allow comparison purchasing. We define comparison purchasing as the act of buying several items with the intent of keeping just the one you like best and returning the remainder. This causes undue expenses and may increase the overall cost of our items to our other valued customers. Legal Notice:
