In many cases the pictures you are viewing on our website are pictures of the actual piece of jewelry we are offering for sale. (Eye Clean) By definition, diamonds with a clarity grade of I.F , VVS1, VVS2, VS1 , VS2 , SI1 , SI2 , are EYE CLEAN (clean to the naked eye OR clean to an unaided eye ) Some consider the SI3 clarity grade to be borderline. However in our experience, SI3 clarity grades will often fail to meet this criteria. Occasionally SI2 clarity grades can also be considered borderline.
10) What is Fracture Filled / Feather / Clarity Enhanced/ Laser Drilled?

Fracture Filled / Feather Filled - These are small fractures in a diamond. They are usually caused by the tremendous stress that the diamond suffered while it was growing underground. In some cases the feather both begins and ends within the diamond's surface and, in other cases, the feather begins inside the diamond and extends to the surface. When viewed under magnification, some feathers are transparent and others have a light white appearance to them. The term "feather" comes from the fact that, under magnification, these fractures often seem to have an indistinct, feathery shape to them. While the idea of buying a diamond with "fractures" may sound scary, the reality is that, with normal wear and care, most feathers pose no risk to the diamond's stability. Consider this: even with the feathers, these diamonds survived their growth and their journey to the surface intact. Once on the surface, they also survived the mining process, as well as the brutal stresses of the diamond cutting process. Though diamonds are certainly not invulnerable to damage, basic consideration to their care and handling during everyday wear will most likely protect them over the course of several human lifetimes.

Laser Drilled - is a process by which a microscopic hole is created with a Laser Beam to reach an inner black carbon inclusion so it can be removed by boiling the diamond with a very strong acid. This is a fairly common procedure that cannot be detected by the naked eye, and sometimes may not even be detectable with magnification. This is an irreversible process that is often used to enhance the appearance of a diamond.

When you see by our descriptions of our diamond "natural diamond w/ enhanced clarity" and you see a "yes" by that diamond, it is a clarity enhanced diamond. Enhanced by either fracture filling or laser drilling. The diamond is 100% natural, but the clarity has been improved visually to the naked eye.

This means that the carrier is not allowed to deliver your items(s) without obtaining a signature as proof of delivery.
